Welcome Agents!
Hi Agents,
Thank you for stumbling across my site!
I write YA and MG fantasy (I am somewhat obsessed with parallel worlds and shapeshifters, so all my stories will have some facet of these in them).
I current have a YA story called EverDawn, and a MG called George Jones and the Champion's Gauntlet, both of which are in need of very good homes. You can learn more by clicking the tabs, or view the sample chapters above.
If you think you might be a good fit for either (hopefully both), please reach out: contact@thewolfeking.com
Can't wait to hear from you!

"Nothing burns forever..."
Under a blistering sky, the age of the EverDawn is upon the Kingdom of Heaven.
For those like ARDEN, a royal Chalice, it is more than just the Holy Union between divine and royal blood, where Almighty and prince become one. It is the moment she has waited her entire life for—to be chosen by the new god-prince as his consort. To bear him a son in exchange for the crown. To ascend. To become more than queen. To become the Grail.
Except the only crown Arden receives are the flames from the pyre when she is framed for murdering the prince before the union can take place. Sentenced to death while the only family she has ever known, her sister-Chalice—her beloved—is sold into slavery. Arden should have perished in the flame, reduced to nothing more than ash and cinder. Instead, she discovers a power locked away inside her, one that has not been seen since the gods returned to Heaven and remade the world in their image…
For those like BRANNON, EverDawn is nothing more than a renewed cycle of hate and pageantry. Where those with light in their veins celebrate their cruel god, all the while continuing to crush humanity under their heel. Thankfully, Brannon lives free beyond the empire’s reach, and the perpetual light of the Halo’s eye.
At least, until his sister goes missing and he is forced to enter the capital in search of her. Brannon’s mission should have been simple: find his sister and get out while the lightbloods were distracted. Instead, he bears witness to a strange power strong enough to best a god, one that draws him into its dark embrace, changing him forever…
Through this unholy bond, Brannon will have no choice but to protect Arden from the Empire. Chased from Heaven, the two will battle Cardinals, Templars, and even Archangels as they race to save the ones they love and uncover the truth of what her dark power really is.
The age of the EverDawn is upon the Kingdom of Heaven, and the time has come for darkness to return, the time has come—for Heaven to fall.
Sometimes being a champion isn’t about being a hero, it's about having heart. That’s the lesson George Jones is about to learn when this seemingly ordinary, eleven-year-old boy, is ripped from his world by a terrifying creature in the mirror and dropped into a gladiatorial arena. Turns out, George Jones is not the ordinary eleven-year-old boy he thought he was, in fact, he’s not even real, not really. He’s a character in a story, in a book, just like everyone around him. But now his author is gone, and the muses who inspired him all his life have come to collect. George thought muses were beautiful creatures like angels, shrouded in soft ethereal glows and gentle smiles. He got the glowing part right, but not the dead, shark-like eyes, or the needle-like teeth.
And just when George didn’t think it could get any worse, he discovers the group around him are all heroes from their own stories, all brought together in an epic showdown to discover who's the best of the best, the hero of heroes. But the muses made a mistake. They wanted his younger sister, Grace, not George. She’s the exceptional one, he’s just, well, ordinary. He doesn’t have powers like some of the others, he can’t summon shadows or command air. Can’t turn into a wolf or a raptor—yes, that’s right, the prehistoric kind. He can’t do any of that, not that it matters. Every day, two will battle and every day, one will fall. Only the winner stands the chance of saving their world, only the winner will be crowned Champion of the Gauntlet and claim the power to go home, to make their world real.
Except that too is a lie. The muse queen has no intention of ever letting them go home, and the arena isn’t even the true gauntlet. But the real gauntlet does exist, and so does the power to save everyone George loves.
George is about to embark on a journey of a lifetime. With a strange shapeshifting, dog-creature named Excalibur by his side, and a girl with wings who can’t decide if she is more Valkyrie than Amazon, he will escape the arena and set out into the dark world of the muses where he will seek out the true gauntlet. He will be tested, he will be weighed, but will he be found worthy? Let’s find out.
